Mind map and research about property development, Langley BC
and eco-friendly living.
I explored the lower case “ch” in cursive for a more fluid and organic line representing nature. Then, I added some details in the “h” loop to make it look more like a leaf symbolizing “green”, earth and nature.
To simplify this, I only kept the leaf.
The leaf in the h shows how the logo was originated.
The sans-serif font I created uses very round and minimal angles to match the fluid lines in the logo.

Colours
I used a green stroke to draw the leaf because it depicts renewal, fertility and growth while showing how the townhomes are environmentally friendly and green living.
Yellow represents freshness and joy while brown representing earth and wood and is typically used in construction. With that being said, I used gold for the accent colour since it is cousin to the colour yellow and brown. The gold stroke in the middle of the leaf portrays simplicity since these are ecofriendly homes.
